Kate Hunter - Pro Mo

At Talk to the Press we often secure our clients appearances on daytime shows including This Morning, Good Morning Britain, Lorraine and Loose Women.

This week, our clients Kate Hunter, 22, and Adam Hill, 35, were featured on This Morning to share the story of their unlikely friendship.

In December 2013 Kate narrowly escaped death when stranger Adam smashed into her in his Audi while driving on the wrong side of the road.

A promising Paralympic dressage competitor, Kate was left with an unusable left arm, broken nose, a Traumatic Brain Injury, two breaks in her hand, and was covered in cuts and bruises.

kate-in-hospital6Sales manager Adam was convicted of two counts of causing serious injury by dangerous driving at Lincoln Crown Court and sentenced to 15 months in prison. But, in a remarkable act of generosity, Kate not only forgave Adam for his part in the smash – the pair became friends!

Talk to the Press helped the pair publish their inspirational story in the Daily Mirror last month, and today they spoke to presenters Holly Willoughby and Philip Schofield about how their unlikely friendship helped them both.

Raising awareness on This Morning

Adam and Kate are determined to turn the life changing event into something positive and having the chance to appear on This Morning was perfect for raising awareness.

If, like Kate and Adam, you have a story you think is strong enough to appear on ITV, please fill out the ‘Story Valuation’ form on this page, or you can give us a call on 0207 549 5428.

How Talk to the Press help you get onto This Morning

ITV shows tend to feature faces who have already appeared in the news, so quite often our first step would be to place your story in a national newspaper.

We will secure you a great fee for your time and read you back the copy to make sure you’re 100% happy with it before anything is printed.

Then, once the story has appeared in a newspaper, we will flag it with our contacts on ITV, who will then give you a call if it’s something that could work for one of their shows and make arrangements.  We work closely with television production companies, which means we provide the easiest route to get onto This Morning and sit on the famous sofa.

Daytime shows have a huge audience. Featuring on TV programmes is a fantastic way to get your story out there to millions of people. So give us a shout and we’ll set the ball rolling for you!
